|Toyota Transportation Research Institute has studied about 'Public Transportation', 'Traffic Safety', 'Smooth Traffic', and 'Environment' through the case studies of Toyota City since 1991 and accumulated our knowledge in the field of transportation.
The Institute is a unique, non-profit research body established by cooperation between Toyota City, a local government and the private sections (Toyota Motor Co. etc.) in order to promote practical researches on transport problems and policies of local cities. We also aim to disseminate our achievements to the world.
The Institute has the strength in proceeding research projects and services cooperating and collaborating with private sectors and residents.
We deploy our activities and research through promoting that Toyota City is becoming 'the model city of transportation' in which automobile and public transportation are used wisely, or intelligently.
